My garden is success and failure.  As a graphic designer, I have done a lot of work to please others. I must say that my garden is my first attempt to design and please myself.  It is an endless project with few parameters and no real deadlines. I've planted with blue fescue and complemented it with the fiery orange of coreopsis.  Amidst the soft repetitive mounds of helianthemum I've anomilized with the sharpness of yucca and buckthorn. The fish in my pond were chosen based on their colors and patterns.

But nature does what she wants and thumbs her nose at me quite often. We are a creative team,
she and I.
