There are two kinds of people in the world; gardeners and flowers. I like to change my environment around a lot. I move furniture around inside. I move plants around outside. Gardening allows me to create more room in which to create things and move them around. I wish my plants were on roller skates; it would make it much easier.

This past fall I created a new room outside by building a large arbor. I painted each post a different color so that during the winter when I look out, there would be something cheerful along with the browns and beiges of the season.
