What a joy to be associated with such a wonderful project with such
wonderful and talented artists and gardeners! I myself, am an avid
gardener. In fact, two of the paintings shown on this page are of my cats in my garden. A third one, Frog Pond, is an ode to the frog pond of my youth in Valhalla, New York where I cut my artistic teeth in my parents art studios. Yes, both my parents are artists. My Dad, now retired, was an illustrator in New York City, and my Mom is still a practicing fine artist. So, you see, I never had a chance; it is in my genes! I paint or die! (smile).

For many years I have concentrated on developing my skills in figure and
still life painting, as well as mural painting and illustration. Landscape painting is so special to me, that I have been "saving" it for a time when I can give it my full attention and passion. Perhaps this Eccentric Artists Gardens Tour will usher in that time for me. To translate my love of nature onto canvas is a special honor and joy that I relish sharing with all of you!
